JC Eckstine-Gomez

Communications Coordinator

JC joined the PMR team as Communications Coordinator. As an experienced graphic designer, he is tasked with creating content for client websites, publications, emails, social networks, and various other external communications outlets.

JC is a member of AIGA (American Institute of Graphic Arts), ASAE (American Society of Association Executives), the World Affairs Council of Greater Houston, and the Pi Kappa Alpha International Fraternity.

He is committed to providing brand-consistent content that effectively engages an audience through high-quality aesthetics, rational organization, and a call to action. Prior to joining PMR, JC worked for the Office of Public Relations and Community Outreach (College Relations) at Lone Star College-University Park in Houston, Texas where he and other staff developed, evaluated, and managed the college’s marketing plan. He has also lent his skills as a multimedia specialist to organizations like GGR International, Lehigh University Athletics, and Forge3.

He graduated from Lehigh University where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Design and a Master’s of Engineering in Technical Entrepreneurship, which provided him with training in the art and practice of creating new companies while bringing revolutionary products and services to market. In a break from college, he was cast as lead actor and narrator for United Way of Metro Dallas’s “One Small Decision” video campaign. Moreover, he played the role of “Clutch the Mountain Hawk” (Lehigh University’s official mascot) for the entirety of his undergraduate studies.

In his off-time, JC can be found rocking out to an incredibly loud concert, hiking through treacherous terrain, or visiting a local museum/think-tank. His favorite books include the 32+ volume of the Encyclopedia Britannica and F. Scott Fitzgerald’s The Great Gatsby.
